Today I attended the 40th anniversary celebration of the Sexual Assault Support Centre of Ottawa (SASC Ottawa's English-speaking sister organization).

SASC: Young Women Program does very important work to support victims of sexual assault, including persons with disabilities, Indigenous people, immigrants and refugees, racialized persons, and those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, and expressions. They strive to be a safe space for survivors of all intersections and are committed to ending gender-based violence with anti-oppressive values at their core.
