Thank You for Joining Our Second Annual Corn Roast and Vendor Fair - August 24th

Thank you to everyone who joined us at our Annual Corn Roast and Vendor Fair! Once again, we handed out over 450 corn roasts!The event was a true celebration of community spirit. We were treated to live music from Shawn F. Tavenier, who set the perfect tone for the day, while attendees explored a wide variety of local vendors offering everything from handmade crafts to delicious treats. Deborah’s face painting station was a hit, kids enjoyed the pool and the atmosphere was filled with laughter and joy.

Be sure to check out the local businesses and vendors that helped make this day memorable, including Butika Shop, Caleb Ficner, Chiqui Bakery, Ember Jewell Pyrography, Fire & Flame Glassworks, Social Harvest Ottawa, Jus Per Wood Creations, and Ian Sculpts. Thank you to the Eastview Legion and Club Optimiste Vanier Ontario for sharing fresh watermelon and adding to the festive atmosphere.

We also want to extend our gratitude to Ottawa Fire Services for being there with their firetruck, and to all those who helped make this event a success. A special thanks to city councillors Rawlson King and Tim Tierney for attending, helping out, and engaging with our community.
