Supporting the Second Edition of the "J'aime lire en français" Eloquence Contest

I had the pleasure of welcoming members of CAFÉ (Community of Francophone Actions for Emancipation) and last year's laureates, Malia and Esther, to my office to support the second edition of the Concours d'éloquence "J'aime lire en français." As a critic for francophone affairs and a proud francophone myself, I recognize the immense value of such initiatives in promoting the French language and culture among our youth.

As a mother of four children who all share a love for reading, I am deeply aware of the transformative power of literature. This competition plays a crucial role in encouraging young people to engage with the French language in a meaningful and creative way. The ability to read in French not only helps preserve our cultural heritage but also provides countless opportunities for personal growth and connection with others. It is wonderful to see our young people embracing the beauty of the French language and finding their voice through literature.
