Strengthening Healthcare in Ottawa-Vanier: A Look at the AGA at Montfort Hospital

The annual general meeting at Montfort Hospital this evening was very positive and promising. It was a pleasure to attend and have the opportunity to speak with many key partners in the francophone health sector in Ottawa.

However, despite the progress and dedication of local organizations, the lack of concrete action from the government to support our healthcare system is concerning. Access to quality healthcare should be a right for all, and as we continue to work towards strengthening our community's health services, it is critical that our provincial and federal governments take urgent action to address the gaps in healthcare services, particularly for the francophone population in Ottawa-Vanier.

Together, we continue to strengthen our community's health services, but more support is needed from the government to ensure that our healthcare system meets the growing needs of our diverse population.
