Standing in Solidarity with Healthcare Workers at Toronto Rally

Today, along with my Caucus colleagues Adil Shamji, Andrea Hazell, Ted Hsu, and Stephanie Bowman, we stood in solidarity with healthcare workers at the "Save our Hospital Care" rally in Toronto hosted by CUPE Ontario, Unifor Canada, & SEIU.

The fact is, the healthcare crisis we are experiencing is unprecedented in our province. The extent of ER closures & the lack of physicians is personally felt by so many across Ontario.

Hundreds gathered to demand higher staffing levels and better patient care. The Ford government is trying to make us believe that our healthcare system is doing fine, but it has failed to demonstrate how it prioritizes the well-being of both patients and those who care for them.
