ROMA Conference 2024: A Key Opportunity to Address Rural Ontario’s Needs

I attended the ROMA (Rural Ontario Municipal Association) conference, a vital event that brings together municipal leaders from across rural Ontario. During this conference, important discussions took place on issues such as healthcare accessibility, infrastructure development, and the challenges facing rural communities.

Our caucus focused on the need for stronger support for rural municipalities, especially when it comes to investment in healthcare, education, and local economic development. Addressing the unique challenges faced by rural Ontario communities is crucial for ensuring equitable opportunities and services across the province.
