Queen's University Students Engage in Passionate Debates at the House of Commons

This afternoon, students from Queen's University passionately voiced their opinions and engaged in debates on crucial issues at the House of Commons. Queen's Model Parliament holds the distinction of being the oldest and most extensive model parliament in Canada. Operated entirely by students, the event draws in more than 300 committed students from various faculties at Queen's University annually.

Witnessing the dedication and eloquence of the younger generation was both encouraging and inspiring. It was a joy to preside as the speaker in the House of Commons for the first time, making it a particularly memorable and enjoyable experience. The enthusiasm and interest displayed by these promising and inspiring young individuals in politics are truly commendable.
