Pre-Budget Consultations Highlight Critical Needs in Healthcare and Education

Robust consultation is a critical part of good governance. During pre-budget consultations held in Cornwall, I heard the needs of several leaders and organisations to support our communities.

Our healthcare system desperately needs investments and the Ontario government is the province that spends the least amount of money in our education system in the whole country. Yet, the Ford government is sitting on $5.4 billion dollars in contingency fund.
