Pizza Distribution with Khalsa Aid at Robert E. Wilson School

This morning, I joined Khalsa Aid Canada to help distribute pizzas for all the kids at Robert E. Wilson School. The Grade 1 students, I had the chance to speak with, had some very engaging questions for me. It was heartwarming to see their smiles as they enjoyed the special pizza lunch.

This year, 12 schools of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB) benefited from the 2024 Ottawa Summer Food Drive organized by Khalsa Aid Canada, in collaboration with Italfoods and the OCDSB. The pizza lunch, delivered on this Friday, left a lot of children smiling. This event is one of the largest school pizza days in Ottawa and is aimed at supporting at-risk youth and promoting equity in education.

I'm also looking forward to attending the event tomorrow at the Ottawa Food Bank with Khalsa Aid Canada. It's a privilege to be a part of these initiatives that make such a difference in our community.
