February 5 2026 newsletter
In my February newsletter, I highlight a busy month in Ottawa–Vanier and across Ontario, including Black History Month activities, Winterlude, and upcoming community events.
At Queen’s Park, I outline my role within the Ontario Liberal Caucus as Critic for the Attorney General, Francophone Affairs, and French Language Education, and as Liberal House Leader—focused on accountability, protecting democratic institutions, and defending and strengthening French-language services and education.
The newsletter also recaps recent local and regional engagements, including the ROMA conference, the launch of Retraite en Action’s new French-language programming for retirees, an interview on the importance of Franco-Ontarian bookstores, celebrations with MP Mona Fortier, the 6th anniversary of the Maison de la francophonie d’Ottawa, and the Vanier BIA AGM. Events and opportunities listed include Winterlude (Jan. 30–Feb. 16), Ontario Trillium Foundation Capital Grants (deadline March 4), and the Coldest Night of the Year walk on February 28 in support of The Mission.
