Celebrating Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Grant Recognition Event - Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre

I was happy to attend the Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant recognition event and community service provider expo at the Rideau Hub. This event is especially significant as it coincides with Sexual Violence Prevention Month and Victims and Survivors of Crime Week.

The Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre has been awarded a $200,000 Resilient Communities Fund grant by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. This grant will greatly aid in their recovery from COVID-19 impacts and enhance their online presence. I'm grateful for this support as the organization provides essential services to survivors of sexual and gender-based violence, a cause close to my heart.
The Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre's dedication to trauma-informed, client-centered, and inclusive services is commendable. This grant underscores the critical need for ongoing support in addressing sexual violence in our communities.
