Lucille Collard

Your MPP for Ottawa—Vanier

Your voice at Queen's Park

Lucille Collard has proudly called Ottawa–Vanier home for her entire adult life. A lawyer by training and a passionate advocate for public service, Lucille began her career on Parliament Hill before serving as legal counsel in federal institutions including the NAFTA Secretariat, the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission and the Federal Courts.

Driven by a commitment to education, Lucille played a pivotal role in the creation of École Trille des Bois, a francophone public school rooted in holistic education. From a pilot project with 18 students, the school now welcomes over 650 learners and stands as a cornerstone of the Franco-Ontarian community.

Her leadership continued as School Trustee (2010–2020) for Rideau–Vanier and Rideau-Rockcliffe, where she was elected Chair of the CEPEO (Conseil des écoles publiques de l’Est de l’Ontario). In 2020, she was elected Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Ottawa–Vanier.

At Queen’s Park, Lucille has championed priorities like affordable housing, mental health, education, and environmental protection. She has successfully passed an important piece of legislation to support survivors of human trafficking and her motion to fly the Franco-Ontarian flag permanently at Queen’s Park received all-party support.

Lucille is deeply committed to amplifying the voices of her community and working across party lines to bring real solutions to Ottawa–Vanier. Her constituency office is an active hub, helping residents access services and supporting local businesses, organizations, and advocacy groups.
